No check on felling of Green Gold in Punaja block of Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH: Ruthless cutting of green Deodar trees is going on unabated in forest division Bhaderwah without any check. The pictures captured by the JK MONITOR lenseman in  compartment number 49 of Punaja forest block of Nerru range of Forest Division Bhaderwah are the live examples of the nexus between forest officials and forest mafias. To distroy the evidence, forest officials are busy in burning  the remains and stumps of  green Deodar trees which ere illegally cutt down by the forest mafia in close cooperation of corrupt forest officials. JAMMU: A poor man’s death in forest on the mid day of July 12 (in between 12 noon to 1 pm) seems will remain a mystery only  as the field Forest Officials have submitted a report to the their office that the man was alone and got killed after he comes under the felling tree.   Sources said that the forest officials have showed in their report that the man was alone while felling the tree and came under the tree.
